And to sum up, we shall end with the experience with Cathay airlines. Apparently, they have been the Airline of the yr 2005/2006.. however it remains to be seen with the experience we had with them.

1.) Food was served after more than 1.5hrs..crap..in between we were left high and dry in the plane *High in the air, dry air around us*

2.) When i asked for soya bean milk, the stewardess gave the the "HUH??" look..like she never heard of it before.. -.- and finally she told me..no we don't have it on board..zzz

3.) The stewardess always MIA..i cant find them on the isle..they are basically..somewhere else in the plane

4.) Slow motion in serving food/ etc/ drinks whatever

5.) The food sux.. ok it may not be their fault..but basically the other 2 airlines i often fly with have better stuff *bleah*

6.) This complaint is for bibi, he says the stewardess(s) CMI =.= its not their fault too >.>

7.) The plane was delayed damn long..u mean 2 days to clear those pple u have delayed in the airport aint enuff?? Maybe it wasnt cos the inital chaos proved too much for them to sort out.

Pork Bun: Pork not tasty, and its fatty! Eeek..Those at mong kok tastes even better k !
The mayonaise is better, but thats not the main dish -.-

Milk tea: Nothing fantastic? Yah

Why -1/10? Cos it gave me runs 20mins after i ate it.. I am particular at unclean food..cos my stomache cannot take it..zzz not tasty nvm..its UNCLEAN! Both me and bibi had stomache after eating their stuff...and it delayed my schedule to go Stanley Mkt *bah*

Famous for: Egg tarts, cos the last famous guy who ate it is Peng Ding Kang

Cost: 70cts sgd, HKD$3.50 for 1pc, its normal size not MINI

Taste: 8/10, crust is pretty nice..thick crust. Not too sweet. And its fresh and hot~

Below is bibi and 20pcs of egg tarts, standing outside tai cheong bakery. We had 4pcs to ourselves and the rest for my aunt/collegues as their office was nearby and we had asked a favour from them -->directions to the bakery..so we promised to run the errand.

After going to the loo twice, becos of the damn pork chops/milk tea, we finally arrived at Stanley Mkt..ok there's nuttin much there unless u wear a carrot on your head, then go shopping there.

The prices there are meant for tourists k..dun buy unless u are a carrot head. If u wanna see a 'alive' Stanley Mkt, get there before 4pm..Obviously with the runs we had, we arrived there at 5.30pm + and almost everything closed..crap..

And there's chubby yy below, i was having a severe headache and stomache upset..see my forceful smile ?! -.- See the scenary at Stanley ..its pretty nice..but its under renovation now at the areas where u can take nice pictures.. >.>

Actually we wanted to have dinner at Stanley's but its pretty boring there with all the western pubs..so we went to mac to take my panadol with their newly launched summer drink: Lychee Punch *there's no lychee in the drink =.= *

Then we waited to Mini Bus No.40..mini bus are small vans that take about 10+pple at most..and it drives at such high speed down the mountains..*stanley is across the mountains and repulse bay* ..u wanna puke when u get out of it *lmao*

On 2nd August, this fateful day..the T1 signal==> Typhoon winds lvl1 flag was in full effect.
We went out shopping at Mong kok, to cover the rest of the grounds..and at the evening 5pm we were supposed to board the cruise liner..

Bibi: " U sure u wanna go the cruise? The typhoon is in lvl1, maybe lvl 3 later..are u scared?"
YY : " Poseidon... got bibi not scared la but u must save me later ar.."
Bibi: " Eh..got life boats..but the women and children will go first what..dun scared"
YY : " Dun wan, i wanna stay with bibi"

*Passes the customs, check in, goes into room*
And settled down, ta da we are on the deck taking pics before the liner leaves the Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour. We had taken 4-5 shaky shots before theres one DECENT pic w/o the winds blowing my hands >.>

And then we went for dinner, to our dismay..u can only eat ONCE out of the 3 restaurants. Which means if u have eaten dinner at the ocean palace restaurant, u cannot eat again for dinner FOC at the mariner's restaurant..if u want extra meal, pay HKD$38 per pax.

So we didnt try all restaurants as we planned to initially..We went into the Chinese fare restaurant..and THEN..MIND U..the food SUX..i tell u Star Pisces 1D 1N cruise is rubbish crap food..i suspect i may cook better stuff then they do..or my mum definitely can..

Nothing is worth mentioning abt the food, except it sux, fullstop.

After dinner, we went to the arcade..small arcade..we saw all the aunties/uncles queueing up outside fortune room, fortune room is a gambling room. Wtf? 1hr before it opens they are queuing up... *just like how maplers click on the maple icon before the server is opened after patch*

While playing at the arcade, the ship was moving and suddenly i felt giddy...we were experiencing choppy waters... we went back to the room as the gambling room hasnt opened..and rested..i felt like puking but stopped myself..

Bibi wanted to gamble..so we went to the few gambling rooms available..at this time its abt 9+pm to 10+...i was feeling all dizzy from the rocking ship...we went into this room with jackpots that i could play while bibi looked around the tables... I chose this jackpot machine with the game that has husky on its icon, mysteriously i won a few times..-_-' i duno why ok. I was playing with half my eyes opened..cos i felt like puking and dizzy

Then the ship started to get violently shaky..suddenly this Ah Peh, he fell down on the floor "BANG" , along with the chair he was sitting in , due to the ship crashing against the waves.

Everyone in the casino turned and stopped, shocked by the sudden fall of the uncle+his chair( it was those high chairs above the ground). And the uncle was like less than 3m away from me..we were both at jackpots.. >.> heng i held on to the jackpot machine while gambling with half my eyes opened.

the banker at one table was vomitting while handing out cards, the couple at the table told the banker, "U go rest lah, we see already also feel xing ku for you". *The manager was holding the vomit bag for the banker while she was gambling and vomitting altogether*

Then bibi said there is nothing much in the room, so he played alittle jackpot and the overall was -HKD$10 >.<

So we went to the casino above, the rocking got worse up there..and i felt so bad..i sat by the side of the ship, near the window panes. Pressing my face against the window, i could see the waves thrashing by ..the ship was rocking sideways, backward and forward too..

"PRANG ! PRANG!" suddenly the glass cabinet storing the captains' photos, slide open and the captains' framed pictures fell on the floor.. *i was wondering if it was a bad omen* Oh btw, i heard when the casino opened, the vases （decoration purposes) fell smashed on the floor too -.-

Then we went into the casino again, I was feeling sleepy and awful..and bibi went to the reception to get the anti giddy pill (duno what issit called in english) I ate it...and i told him to go gamble first, while i rest at the side of the ship..he say no..nvm we go back room rest first.

So i went back and slept..a few times when the ship got violent and i woke up..i ask bibi " Are you alright?" And dozed off to sleep again..

When i finally felt better at about 6am++, i woke up to see a dissatisfied bibi.. he grumbled that i made him come on cruise to watch tv, waste the 100+bucks per pax (this cruise came as a package with our cathay tkts) . But i didnt want this mah..i was feeling so uncomfortable..so he went on with a sulk till we got off the ship at 9am+

This is not the end, its a start of a NEW windy day.

When we stepped out of harbour city shopping centre, we saw the fliming crew from TVB..the "producer" was standing there waiting for the MOMENT to start the camera rolling. The MOMENT finally came, the gales of wind blew by and all the pedestrains' umbrellas started flying in all sorts of direction, so did the DUSTBINS..

*yes u shld have seen the youtube famous Dustbin K.O woman clip by now*

And we wanted to cross..we had to go in front of the camera >.> so we crossed after the wind got less strong, if you see this shortie clad in dark blue oversized wind breaker and a guy wearing red shirt pressing him arm down on her. Thats the 2 of us. Bibi was pressing my arm firmly to keep me on the ground *lmao* Meanwhile i called my aunt for directions on way to home, there was this newspaper store auntie there, she exclaimed loudly, "When there was lvl8 typhoon in full effect, i also never see the wind blow like that!"

We went and took a bus home, but the nearest bus stop for that straight bus no. 271 was too far..and it was drizzling..so we took another bus to the KCR(train) station.

We got down at Hong Kan Station, and we saw a notice saying a tree fell at Shang Shui area and the train service will be delayed. -_-

Nonetheless we had to take the train, we went back and waited and waited in the train for about 20mins..finally it started and it got stuck again at mong kok because the train in front hasn't moved..

So we got down at the stop after mong kok: Sha Tin. Went to mac, grabbed some drinks..and we decided to head home..Luckily the train service resumed, and we went home finally. Bathed and snoozed....~

In the noon/evening news, we realised the havoc caused by this typhoon...Umbrellas flying, bins flying, flights delayed and the whole airport looked like a famine camp with pple in blankets and all. And there were ships with crew members being rescued at sea, that COULD have been US!

On the 4th Aug, we saw the newspapers and we finally understand whats going on!

4th Aug Headlines on Apple Daily: " We want the Head of the Weather Dept to step down!"

o.0 we went...then came the comparison of all the recent typhoons with their wind speed. The prev lvl 8 typhoon had LOWER wind speed then the 派比安 typhoon that we encountered, and the previous lvl9 typhoon they had was just alittle higher speed than 派比安 !

The signal should have been a 八号风球 ！ That weather department head says he didnt wanna show a lvl8 signal as that would have caused millions/billions of economic loss...

Wtf ! I was at cruise at a lvl8 typhoon in full effect..no wonder the bankers at the casino puked! Even they had not worked on cruise at lvl8 typhoon...this bastard refuses to signal a lvl8..disregards our lives! I was feeling angry at that...but at the same time, bibi seems to have come to a understanding about me "stopping" him to his road of fortune with my sea sick. He forgave me...for making him watched tv on cruise...but he was still occasionally grumbling though >.<

In the end, did the bastard step down...i duno.. no news on him recently.. *URGH*

The HOT and popular fishball horfun which made us choke the traffic for 1hr+


The fishball horfun..taken after we slurped down one bowl..this is the extra bowl..we had no time to take ours..our heads were down slurping away when it landed on our table.


On our 2nd day, my aunt suggested breakfast at the Taipo's aircon hawker centre, u may think aye its just a FOOD COURT...No.. far from it..

The layout of the stores and stuff, is like a hawker centre..whereby pple dun cook in the kitchen concealed from the customers..they cook/fry RIGHT in front of u...
But strangely we dun smell like food when we came out from the hawker centre..which means they are damn good system tt circulates the air around

Ok back to the topic, we waited for 1 hr+ for seats..becos it was SO CROWDED...its not that the whole hawker centre is crowded but theres RULES in the hawker centre..
==> If u are eating from this stall, u have these few tables to sit on..U CANNOT sit elsewhere..u must sit on these few tables...

As the fishball horfun we were planning to have were so darn popular, we ended up hindering the traffic around those tables for the next 1hr+

The ice milk tea was ordered because we were sitting in the table meant for the drinks stall customers >.> The fishball horfun was not bad, different style from Singapore fishball noodles..
Singapore fishballs are bouncy, these HK fishballs will go SPLAT! when u throw them on the floor. And they have no chilli in HK..yes even macdonalds doesnt have it...
So we had chilli oil *read salty but non spicy chilli* to accompany our horfun..it was not bad la..though i wonder what's the crowd abt =.= 

See the 3 pics above, u know why? There is this weird junction at causeway bay..whereby when the green man starts shining, all pedestrains at the triangular junction can cross...so we thought about standing in the middle of the road to take a pic..but the bystanders may think we are nuts * recalls abt taking a pic with TVB mini van LOL*

So by right, u can cross diagonally too..whichever way u like...We often thought about crossing diagonally in Singapore roads at cross junctions lmao 

Shopping at Sogo
Shopping at Causeway Bay, u must visit the SOGO there. It has a large variety of designs, and the designs are NICE..that's the thing..NICE~ And at the 9th floor or rather the event hall, the whole storey is reserved to display all goods on great discounts like 50% to 90% off that kind of thing. I bought a tops at HKD60 bucks..SGD=$12..under jap brand DEKZO. Anyway, there's levis sales on that floor too..but i cant be bothered..lmao

And SOGO had this japanese supermarket, which sells VODKA shots in plastic bottles like a cone shape with 25% alcohol content. Its pretty interesting, but we didnt buy any back. 1 shot at 25% alchohol content..>.>

Ah Mew Cafe

This is the stay-near-the-door-nvestigate-when-needed kitty, its persian breed i think. It came to investigate our sogo shopping bag when we first sat down.

At Ah Mew Cafe at Causeway Bay, this cafe allows their own cats to roam freely in the restaurant/cafe..ALL cats dere were so FAT! This one on my lap is fierce, it stared till the cat sitting under the lamp backed away. Yes yy is having a gd time stroking it..until..it fell asleep and didnt wanna go off my lap >.>



Spotted Li Zhi, Zheng Jia Ying shooting a drama serial at Causeway Bay, we walked along with the crowd..and at the secluded spot we spotted the TVB mini bus. No time to waste, snap snap get a picture with the van~

The cheapest tee shirt i saw at price was for 2pcs at HKD$49, we shall take S$1 = HKD$5.

This price was from Bossini outlet, for those tees u buy at S$10++, its only like 5bucks at the outlet..and u can basically find those stuff u wanted to buy in Singapore in Feb/March in that outlet store...

So i went rummaging in the outlet store and found OMG the khaki color jacket that costs S$69 when i saw it in March..and it finally vanished from Singapore stores when i wanted to get it...Now i see it on HK at the outlet store at only HKD$150 -_-' More than 50% discount from the Singapore price...Yay..buy it !

In mong kok's Fa yuen Street, u can get alot of branded stuff..ok the quality may not be like what u expect..u have to check thoroughly that the piece u are buying has no print damages, holes..etc These clothes come with their tags damaged so pple who buy at these export shops will not be able to exchange these clothes with those sold in the stores. But i dun really care abt the tags anyway..as long as the cloth looks nice. The cheapest bargain u can get frm these export clothes shops is abt HKD$29~36 for a tee..a abercrombie pants will cost u abt HKD$75 at most.. Which long pants in singapore will cost less than 20bucks? One thing abt the export shops, its SIZE. If u wear XL and u are a male, hurray u got many clothes to fit in -.-'

Woke up at 7+, changed, put on some powder and changed into my long sleeve shirt and skirt..double checked everything and off we went to Anti U.

The hat was IRRITATING, 6.5 size was the smallest..and its too small by like 1" for my head zzzz

So my dad started pinning everything on me so it wont fall off/slip off....NEXT thing, the stupid black court shoes...why was it stupid..or maybe i was stupid to buy it in the first place -_-'
It gave my blisters after i started walking around with it..and i LOOKED LIKE A DUCK waddling around.

At ard 10am, finally ceremony started and........

This afternoon I was supposed to treat my relatives to dim sum at crystal jade restaurant for graduation celebration when everything possible screwed up and the can of wormies reopened -_-

OK here's backgrd information:

Batch B: The not-so-welcomed 5 pple + 2 neutral pple
No. of tables booked:2 *it was assumed tt one table housed 10 pple..apparently its not the case here*

11:30am : Arrived at Uncle B hse, met granny and aunt..chat abit here and dere
12.30pm : Uncle B came home. He congratulated me and said: " YY, u know ar..~ Some things is when u say it, means u say it..if u nv, u must deny. And then ar..when treat people ar..must be open..dun be secretive and do funny things like xxx !" Can A of worms : xxx's daughter was getting married..and she didnt invite ME and all cousins to her customary wedding..and mind u we share the same surname..we aint distant cousins u know~ And well as well as her engagement, no "children" were invited ..only adults :@ U may say our dear cousin x might have had a tight budget all along and due to blah blah blah reasons, she's unable to invite we cousins..but hey..for crying out loud, her husband to be is a PILOT -.-
Wtf? We are same batch cousins..how can she do this to us =.=

Can B of worms : xxx's other daughter just graduated..strange to hear dere's no news of any dinner treats..and when uncle B drove my granny to xxx's hse..he discovered xxx was having a buffet celebration at his hse to celebrate his daughter's graduation. And I thought i was xxx's daughter's best cousin..i wasn't invite..none of the relatives was invited..nobody knew..until Uncle B drove my granny dere..yah my granny was invited only >.>

Now back to track...

1:00 pm : Arrived in restaurant..and shocked! How come we only have 1 table and my mum screwed the booking details up...Apparently she tot that 2 tables booked = can accomodate 20pple min..but one table = 8 pple in crystal jade..so we only had 16 seats but 22 pple coming..
O shit~ But they can't really be bothered abt the missing seats as the not-so-welcomed xxx's family is supposed to sit there..

They simply conveniently assumed they aint coming....*i forgot to confirm the no. of pple as it was a last min thingy, my bad*

So i sat down in our 15 pple table and started to feast on the dim sum while we eyed our neighbouring tables nervously in hope they will mai dan (get the bill) soon...

1.15pm : Finally the couple at the next table left, and the table was supposed to accomodate the extra 7 pple ..Uncle B who forgot to lock his car door came back frm the carpark, and he was seatless...he is to squeeze with the not-so-welcomed pple *oops*

So while Uncle B was darting around the restaurant restlessly, the waitress got the table ready.
Uncle B's wife then said: " YY , y dun u move over to the next table and let my husband sit down here?"

O great, now i am being sacrifice as LAMB to sit in the unwanted table..I had nuttin to say except "MMMAAARRRREeeee~! (in short mare = ok)

1.30pm: xxx and family came, and the 2 neutral pple..xxx's 2 daughters(it excl. the cousin who didnt invite us to her wedding) tapped my shoulder and said..:"Hey later the bill we 3 spilt, cos I haven treat them for graduation and my 1st sis say she hasnt treat them for a long time"

Me : "Eh...no nid la.."
Cousin : "Nah..later u one person pay very chor(chor means expensive)"
Me : "Wont la, it wont exceed 500 bucks one"
Cousin : "Nvm la , we split 3 k?"
Me : " ...."

Lunch went past with the waitress's slow movement...soon bill time came...cousin showed her credit card..

Uncle B turned over : " Hey, have u all paid? Ur dad wants to pay"
Me : "Yah, now the bill become 3 person pay......"
Uncle B: " HUH? i dun understand...."
Me: *explains what cousins proposed above abt treating them and splitting bill*

After all's settled, the bill was $120 x 3 for a 22pple dim sum session..I could have paid it myself. -.-

Uncle B came over and said to cousin," YY wanted to treat relatives on her own..y u wanna chap ji ka and kpo??"

Cousin *impatiently waves her arms* : "Aiyah, u eat full liao got so much to talk eh, got free treat for you to eat then you eat la...." Turns and leaves

Me : -.-

Cousin/family of xxx if you are reading this..you may feel we are biased or smth..but my feelings are based on what i heard and partly saw...you cant really blame us(relatives) for the eh...hostile attitude.

Its strange how a guy who "stalked" me ard in JC but nv had the courage to come up to talk to me...when i asked him on ICQ *later on after donkey yrs he added me on icq duno get no. frm who* , he said he scared i wld be angry if he came to talk to me o.0

I wonder what goes on in his mind...and then now he starts talkin to me again via msn *abt 2 yrs frm we talked on icq* , he says he thinks i m a nice person and he wld get along very well with me..

Wtf? I dun even recognise him on the streets *frankly speakin i nv noticed him in JC* ...and he says smth like he knows me so darn well... -_-'' crap

It was a fine sunny morning, bibi called me at 6.35am to wake me up for work, thank u bibi~
Got everything done on time, walked to bus stop..then~ wtf 7.30am and the darn 506 is not here yet....

Finally it came..no seats..fine~ Then the driver jammed his brakes causing all of us to fall fwd, cant he decide whether to chiong or brake...idiot! Finally i sat down..took a short nap..and to my horror when i alighted the bus 38 had just left the berth..this 506 driver is not only a indecisive one, but also irritatingly late in arrival..and he keeps using his horn..to horn cars *with hazard lights on* in his path. The female driver is much much better, arrives early and drives smoothly..who says females dun drive well

The 3 adorable kitties are confirmed to be missing..saddening..

This morning when i went to feed them, mama cat was meowing anxiously..before i tore the food packaging..she nearly leaped on me @.@

After finishing 90% of it >.>, she started meowing in a different tone..i guess she was calling for the kitties to come out..but no one responded..

I think they are gone..haven seen them up till now..who kidnapped my cutie pies?!
